UK announce new approved English tests for resident visa applications

In a move to give applicants more flexibility and a better chance at getting approval for visa applications the UK has updated the list of approved English language tests. The list now contains:

  •     IELTS for UKVI
  •     Life Skills
  •     LanguageCert International ESOL SELT
  •     LanguageCert International ESOL SELT (Speaking and Listening)
  •     Integrated Skills in English (ISE)
  •     Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE)
  •     Pearson PTE Academic UKVI
  •     Pearson PTE Home
  •     Skills for English UKVI (4 component)
  •     Skills for English UKVI (2 component)

All previous tests are now approved to obtain all immigration visas to Britain, such as the UK residency visa, by opening a branch of the parent company in the UK.
