According to the new regulation announced by Portugal and which came into effect on March 18, 2021, the residency cards that expired or will expire during the year 2021 will be valid until December 31, 2021, provided that the owner of the residence proves that they have set a date for the renewal of the residency. this will not affect individuals who received their residency cards that are valid until 2022.
