About Moldova: 

  The Republic of Moldova is located in southeastern Europe on the borders with Ukraine and Romania. With an area of ​​ 32،860 km2, it is the 33rd country in Europe in terms of area. The country is characterized by its mostly mild climate and mountainous terrain with steep slopes. It has a total population of 2.7 million, and its capital, Chisinau, is the most populous of its cities. Moldova's culture is dominated by ancient traditions mixed with Romanian heritage. It is characterized by a mix of multinationals and cultures in most parts of the country, and Romanian is spoken among them as the official language. The official currency is the lei, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $27.2 billion, and three main sectors play an important role in the country's GDP, which are services, industry, and agriculture. Moldova is characterized by a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural, and the most popular major tourist activities are fishing, water sports and hiking throughout the country which is visited by more than 2.8 million tourists each year.
