The Citizenship by Investment Unit in Saint Lucia has announced the suspension of applications from Iraqi citizens for its Citizenship by Investment program. This decision applies only to new applications and does not affect previously submitted applications.
An exception is made for Iraqi citizens who can prove they have resided outside Iraq for at least 10 years; they may still apply under these conditions.
Despite this update, citizenship by investment programs remain available to Iraqis through other countries, such as Dominica, Grenada, and Antigua and Barbuda.
