The European Union has announced that the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will be delayed until 2027, after it was previously scheduled to launch. The delay will coincide with the launch of the Entry-Exit System (EES) in October 2025.
According to the announcement, the Entry and Exit System (EES) will begin in October 2025, followed by the implementation of ETIAS in October 2026. However, the system will not become fully mandatory until April 2027.
At Reach Immigration, as authorized agents for Citizenship by Investment programs, we constantly monitor news and updates to ensure our clients are always informed. We believe this delay allows citizenship investors to benefit from greater travel freedom, with sufficient time to prepare for upcoming regulatory changes.
