About Somalia: 

  The Republic of Somalia is located in East Africa on the borders with Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya, with an area of ​​637,657 km2. The country is characterized by its dry desert climate and topography which includes plateaus and plains. The total population is 15.8 million, and its capital, Mogadishu, is the most crowded of its cities. The culture of Somalia is dominated by ancient traditions as it is characterized by a mix of multinationals and cultures with the presence of the vast majority of the Muslim population, and they speak Somali and Arabic among them as the official language. The official currency is the Somali shilling, and the country has an open economy, with a GDP of about $5 billion, with both the agriculture and service sectors playing an important role in the GDP. Due to the political and social conditions in Somalia, and the lack of basic infrastructure, the country is facing difficulty in attracting tourists from all over the world.
