About Laos: 

  The Republic of Laos is located in Southeast Asia on the borders with Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Burma and Thailand, with an area of ​​237,955 km2. The country is characterized by its Mediterranean climate and mountainous terrain with steppe lands. With a total population of 7.1 million, its capital, Vientiane, is the most populous of its cities. The culture of Laos is dominated by ancient traditions, which is characterized by a mix of multinationals and cultures with the presence of 65% of the Buddhist population, and they speak Lao among them as the official language. The official currency is the kip, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $58 billion USD. Laos is characterized by a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural as it has 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites in addition to many attractions spread across the country and visited by tourists from different regions of the world.

  Laos' passport is currently ranked 95th according to the Reach Immigration Passport Index, providing access to 51 destinations around the world, and is considered one of the most desirable passports as it gives its holder the highest degree of mobility between various destinations.
