About Chile: 

  The Republic of Chile consists of 16 regions, and it is located on the borders with the countries of Argentina, Bolivia and Peru. Chile covers an area of 756,950 km² and has a predominantly temperate climate with a Mediterranean climate in the central region and a cool climate in the south. Its terrain also varies from low coastal mountains to valleys and the rugged Andes. With a total population of 19.2 million, its capital, Santiago, is the most populous of its cities. The Spanish colonial history and the succession of migrations during the past centuries dominate the culture of Chile, where there is a mix of multicultural and ethnicities in most parts of the country, trading the Spanish language among them as the official language. The official currency is the Chilean peso, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $317 billion. Chile boasts a variety of destinations, attractions, culture and a vast diversity of nature that stretches all the way to the south of the continent and it has 5 Unesco sites and the country is visited by a total of 6.4 million tourists who visit each year.
