About Cape Verde: 

  The Republic of Cape Verde consists of two states located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, to the west of the coast of North Africa, with an area of ​​4,033 km2. The country is characterized by its Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers and its mountainous terrain with deep valleys. The total population is 543,767 and its capital, Praia, is the most populous of its cities. Cape Verdean culture is dominated by ancient traditions, characterized by a mix of multinational and multicultural, and they speak Portuguese as the official language. The official currency is the cap verde escudo, and the country has an open economy, with a GDP of about $4.3 billion, which puts it in 48th place in Africa economically.
