About Barbados: 

  Barbados is located in the North Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Venezuela, with an area of 430 km2. With a total population of more than 287,708 people, its capital, Bridgetown, is the most crowded of its cities. The culture of Barbados is dominated by the Creole civilization, as there is a multicultural mix and religions present in most parts of the country, and they use English as the official language. The official currency is the Barbadian dollar, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $4.9 billion, with both the service and industry sectors playing a major role. Barbados is characterized by a variety of destinations and natural attractions, and the most popular major tourist activities are fishing, water sports and hiking throughout the country which is visited by more than a million tourists each year.
