  The island of the Republic of Malta consists of 5 regions and is part of the European Union, as it is located in southern Europe, on the Mediterranean Sea near the country of Italy in the north. With an area of ​​320 km2, Malta is one of the smallest countries in the European Union. The country is characterized by its moderate climate with mild rainy winters and hot dry summers. With a total population of about 514,564 people, Maltese culture is influenced by a mix of historical and colonial events that shaped the country and the people today as the official languages ​​spoken in the country are Maltese and English. The country's official currency is the euro, and Malta has a thriving economy, with a gross domestic product of about $17.1 billion USD. Malta features a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural, and you can do many popular tourist activities such as sightseeing, hiking, and doing water sports, and Malta has 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites scattered throughout the country which is visited by more than 4 million tourists every year.
