  Romania is part of the European Union. Romania is in the twelfth place in terms of area in Europe which is ​​238,397 km2. It is characterized by its mostly mild climate and mountainous terrain in addition to hills and plains. With a total population of over 19 million its capital Bucharest, is the most populous of its cities. Romanian culture is dominated by the influences of Eastern Europe and Armenia, which is characterized by a multi-ethnic mix of nationalities and ethnicities, who use Romanian among them as the official language. The official currency is the Romanian leu, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about 284 billion dollars, where the service and industry sectors play a major role. Romania is characterized by a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural, as it has 9 UNESCO World Heritage sites scattered throughout the country which is visited by more than 13 million tourists every year.

  Romania's passport is currently ranked 15th according to the Reach Immigration Passport Index, providing access to 179 destinations around the world and is considered one of the most desirable passports as it gives its holder the highest degree of mobility between various destinations.
