It is characterized by a multinational mix and cultures in most parts of the country, and Spanish is spoken among them as the official language. The official currency is the Córdoba, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $35.7 billion, Three main sectors play an important role in the country's GDP, which are services, industry, and agriculture. Nicaragua is characterized by a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural, as it has two UNESCO World Heritage sites scattered across the country that are visited by more than a million tourists every year.
