About Honduras: 

  The Republic of Honduras is located in Central America, on the borders with Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua. The area of ​​the country is 112,492 km2. The country is characterized by its tropical climate and mountainous terrain with coastal plain lands. With a total population of 9.9 million, its capital, Tegucigalpa, is the most populous of its cities. Honduran culture is dominated by ancient traditions mixed with Caucasian, Amerindian and African heritage. It is characterized by a multinational and multicultural mix in most parts of the country, and Spanish is used among them as the official language. The official currency is the meter. The country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $49 billion, the services, agriculture and tourism sectors play a major role in the country's GDP.
