The Golden Visa by Real Estate Investment in Portugal has officially ended

The new legislation related to the housing law in Portugal came into effect on October 7, 2023. The new law includes changes to the Golden Visa program in Portugal, where the real estate investment options for obtaining residency were eliminated. This means that no new applications will be accepted. However, this decision will not affect the renewal of residencies or the applications that have already been submitted.
