Portugal Raises Minimum Wage to 870 EUR Starting January 2025

The Portuguese government has announced an increase in the country’s minimum wage for 2025 to 870 EUR per month, as part of a plan to raise the minimum wage by 50 EUR annually, reaching 1,020 EUR by 2028.

This measure aims to improve wages, promote social justice, and strengthen the national economy. The decision took effect on January 1, 2025.
