The Republic of Nauru has granted its first citizenship to a German family of four through the Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program, which launched in November 2024, marking the country’s successful entry into the Citizenship by Investment field.
The approval process for the German family, currently residing in Dubai, took less than four months. The family stated that their primary motivation was to secure an alternative plan and to contribute to Nauru’s development projects.
This milestone comes at a time of increasing global competition in the Citizenship by Investment market, with program officials emphasizing the rigorous vetting procedures for all applicants to ensure integrity.
