Moldova citizenship by investment real estate stream is planned to be launched in the second half of this year, priced at 250,000 Euro, which is a fixed sum regardless of the family size.
For this stream, any type of real estate in any part of the country is eligible; however, the real estate projects have to be completed, which means that off-plan investments in the property will not qualify.
In the meantime, Moldova has only one investment stream leading to Moldovan citizenship, which is through governmental contributions, where investors invest a contribution of a certain amount in return for Moldovan citizenship in a 90-day process.
