Dominica, along with Barbados, Belize, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, has officially entered into a new agreement granting its citizens full freedom of movement. Effective October 1, 2025, citizens can live, work, and reside permanently in any of the four countries without visas or work permits.
Under the agreement, citizens will receive permanent residency upon arrival, as well as access to emergency healthcare and public education for their children in any of the participating countries.
This agreement represents a significant step towards expanding freedom of movement in the Caribbean. Each participating country has established registration and monitoring systems to coordinate within a regional security framework under CARICOM.
