  Sierra Leone is located in West Africa on the borders with Liberia, Guinea and the North Atlantic Ocean. It covers an area of ​​72،180 km2. The country is characterized by its tropical climate, mountainous terrain and plain lands. With a total population of 7 million, its capital, Freetown, is the most populous of its cities. The culture of Sierra Leone is dominated by the ancient traditions of Britain, which is characterized by a mix of multinationals and cultures with the presence of more than 75% of the population of Muslims, and they speak English among them as the official language. The official currency is the Sierra Leonean leone, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about 12.1 billion dollars, and both the service sector and agriculture play a major role in the country's GDP. Sierra Leone is characterized by a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural , scattered throughout the country which is visited by more than 71،000 tourists each year.
