About Guatemala: 

  The Republic of Guatemalan is located in Central America, bordering El Salvador, Honduras, Belize and Mexico, with an area of 107,160 km2, the country is characterized by its predominantly tropical climate and mountainous terrain with plain lands in the north and southeast. With a total population of 17.6 million, Guatemalan's capital is the most populous of its cities. Guatemalan culture is dominated by ancient traditions mixed with Spanish heritage and indigenous culture. It is characterized by a multinational mix and cultures in most parts of the country, and Spanish is used among them as the official language. The official currency is the quetzal, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $145 billion, which puts it in 10th place among Latin American countries. Three main sectors play an important role in the country's GDP, which are services, industry, and agriculture. Guatemala is characterized by a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural, as it has 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites scattered throughout the country that are visited by more than 2.5 million tourists every year.
