About Colombia: 

  The Republic of Colombia is located in the north of the South American continent with an area of ​​1.1 km2. The country is characterized by its tropical climate and mountainous terrain with plain lands in the north and southeast. With a total population of 50.4 million, its capital, Bogota, is the most populous of its cities. The culture of Colombia is dominated by the ancient traditions mixed between Spanish, European, African and Caribbean cultures, as it is characterized by a multinational and multicultural mix in most parts of the country, and they use Spanish among them as the official language. The official currency is the peso, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $264 billion, which puts it in fourth place among South American countries in terms of economy. Colombia is characterized by a variety of destinations and attractions, cultural and natural, as it has 9 UNESCO World Heritage sites scattered throughout the country which is visited by more than 5 million tourists every year.
