Dominica and UAE sign new visa waiver agreement

New arrangements between the Commonwealth of Dominica and the United Arab Emirates that detailing immigation entry privileges to their citizens that formally came into force on  the 25th of February 2020, of which it allows UAE citizens to enter visa free to Dominica, and entitling the Dominican citizens for a visa on arrival in the borders of UAE for Diplomatic passport holders, and an e-visa for holders of ordinary passports.

This arrangement and agreement signed by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, the Minister of State for International Cooperation comes after the opening of the Dominican embassy in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, in an effort to pursue collaboration between the two countries in different fields as well as service the Dominican citizens and investors residing in the UAE.

Worth to mention the advisory notice sent by the government of Dominica to their citizens who are residents of UAE through their embassy to strictly adhere with the regulations of public health set by the government of UAE, and for those who are out of the UAE to remain where they are without trying to enter the UAE for the coming two weeks due to the UAE putting the passenger traffic on hold starting the 25th of March 2020
