Malta grants more than 1,000 permanent residence permits in 2022

Malta granted approval for more than 1,000 permanent residence permits in 2022 in various tracks of state-run programs, 780 of which came from the Malta Permanent Residency Program, a program for foreign investors wishing to reside in Malta through real estate investment. Launched in 2016, 71% of all applications were approved.
