The Australian immigration government still commits to the number of allocations for the migration program planning at 160,000 persons to come and reside in Australia. Although still focusing on onshore (currently residing in Australia) candidates for the family and skilled migration streams, they also dedicate 50% of the program to highly skilled migrants in the employer-sponsored, business innovation and investment programs as well as the Global talent visas.
