Grenada Passport

Grenada is located in the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea at the southern Grenadines island, Grenada has an outstanding nature; the main economic source for Grenada is tourism, it also an important producer of several fruits and vegetables and spices. It is a member of some important organizations such as the Commonwealth, United Nations, The Organization of Eastern Caribbean state and the organization of American State.

Grenada facilitates the process of having a second citizenship through citizenship by investment programs; one of the main options is the economic investment (National transformation Fund) the main focus of the program is to invest in governmental projects with a value of USD $150,000, the second option is Real Estate investment which is to invest in a property that is officially approved by the government with a value of USD $350,000.

There are some requirements that should be considered for the main applicant and family members who will apply for Grenada’s passport; the main applicant should be above the age of 18 years old, has no criminal record, in a good medical health and with an outstanding character. The children of the main applicant should be below 18 years old, unmarried children and in a full time education who are between 18 and 30 and fully supported by the main applicant, children that are mentally or physically disabled and who depends on the main applicant, and parents or grandparents of the main applicant that are fully supported by the main applicant.

After the applicant purchase the property, he/she will be receiving a certificate of registration and then it should submit it in the passport’s office.

The Caribbean community has established three common passports for the Caribbean Countries, there is a civilians passport that is issued for adults and for children, the second passport in an official passport for governmental officials, the third option is Diplomatic passport which is for the authorized represents Grenada in international affairs.
